Hi Connie,Thank you so much for all your hard work! We were so relaxed about the entire reception and everything went so smoothly. We had so much feedback about the beautiful venue and the food! We cannot fault the quality of the canapés and the service. Very impressive! Several guests had not visited Queenscliff before and are planning to return for a weekender very soon! We had the most amazing day and so much of that was due to you and the wonderful staff at Vue Grand. We will send through a few photos when we get them. Thank you!!!!

Hi Connie,
WOW! What an amazing day. Thank you so much for everything you organised for me leading up to Friday, and for everything you did on the day. I couldn't have wished for anything more. The whole family felt so welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. The reception area was just perfect, the table looked so good and drinks just kept on coming. And apparently the canapes were awesome too! The food was fantastic, complements to the chef, I ate so much I had to let my dress out a little.
Hannah - where do I start? Not only was she a gorgeous smiling face through the WHOLE night but she had fun with guests, was always topping up our drinks, re-heating our meals while we had photos and cleaning up after us. Hannah was always there - everyone loved her. The turret sweet - OMG! Loved it, Loved it, Loved it. We will be back for sure. The spa was a great end to the night. The whole place is just great - There are so many things I could just keep writing about, but where would I stop? So again - just a HUGE thank you to you and everyone at the Vue Grand for a wonderful day - you totally got how we wanted it to be, and I couldn't recommend it enough to any one else for any occasion. Colin and I can't thank you both enough for the best day of our lives. You both did a fantastic job at accommodating all of our guests and we've had so many positive comments at the brilliant service provided. Colin and I can't wait to come back into town and stay at the vue Grand again!

We would just like to thank you for all your help and assistance with planning our wedding. You made it so easy for us, as everything was done so easily. The Vue Grand is a beautiful place, perfect for our perfect day!!We would like to give a special mention to Caleb for all his help on the night, he was awesome and looked after us really well. Nothing was too much for him, if we asked him something, it was done immediately, or at least we were told what was happening. He has a great sense of humour, and is a great asset for the Vue Grand.Your staff were amazing on the night, service was great, and drinks were always filled. The meal was beautifully cooked, and from what i could tell, everyone enjoyed it. We are greatly appreciative of all your help personally, as anything we asked was answered straight away, and made easy. We didn't get a chance to thankyou for your help for organising our wedding on Monday when we checked out. James and I both really appreciated your efforts and we had a lovely wedding. David and I would like to thank you and the team at the Vue Grand for the wonderful service and delicious food provided at our wedding on Saturday 25 October 2008. Your attention to detail was incredible, from the setting of the dining room to the personalised menus for our guests with special dietary requirements. Everyone who attended the reception and those who stayed the evening were impressed with the majestic beauty of the Vue Grand and the top quality service provided. John Barty's piano playing set the mood, he was truly wonderful and I can't recommend him enough, he added a touch of class to an already perfect setting. The Chef and staff in your kitchen also need a special thank you - the meals were delicious and enjoyed by all, and your wait staff went over and above our expectations, looking after our guests food and drink requirements. Finally, spending the evening in the Turret room was a gorgeously indulgent way to finish off our perfect day. David and I were so pleased to have decided to spend an extra night to truly appreciate the Turret room and the beautiful views of Queenscliff.

THANK YOU just seems not enough to express our gratitude to you and your staff for a wonderful few days. Everything was perfect, just as we (and you)! had planned. Your attention to detail was exemplary, and we were truly treated like King and Queen. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and their trips to Queenscliff, and we have had lots of positive feedback about the venue, the food and the staff. Despite being the rather shy people we are (he he), we relished the attention and felt very spoilt by Dean's contribution to the day as well. He was so much fun, and again, we had a number of comments about our photographer with a sense of humour and who truly engaged in the spirit of the day. We were thrilled to bits to have you participate in our day, Again, we received a number of comments about how nice it was to see the hotel manager 'get her hands dirty'. One thing we should share now that we will remember warmly is being 'farewelled' by you at the front doors as we set sail for our photographs - we thought that was truly lovely and it felt like being farewelled by an old friend - THANK YOU. The only disappointment for us Lauren, is that it has all come to an end and we feel like it has been such an amazing journey, made thoroughly enjoyable by you as the wedding planner and hotel manager. You are truly gifted Lauren, you made us feel very special and made sure our day was everything we had hoped for.

A HUGE thank you for all your help on our wedding 'weekend'. You did a great job managing the 'show' (ceremony, reception, guest accommodation) but it was all the little stuff (take-away cup cakes for the guests, allowing us access EVERYWHERE in the hotel for photos, playing our favourite CD's (until the early hours...) It also goes without saying that the food, beverages and service was outstanding as was the atmosphere throughout the afternoon and evening. All in all, it was wonderful to have a true professional 'in charge' on what can be a bit of a stressful day. I would not hesitate in recommending Lauren Smith and the Vue Grand to anyone on their wedding day! We look forward to seeing you in 12 months, though we might come back sooner...
